About Me
- Tim and Esther Dickson
- The idea for Studio D began in April 2003 when we took a trip to Granbury to see Tim's uncle. We stopped at several places to take pictures in the bluebonnets. Our oldest daughter was only a few weeks old, and Tim took one picture that turned out very nice. We received many excellent comments, and Tim's head grew a little. He also took some others that were pretty cool as well, such as a white bluebonnet. A year later, we had the opportunity to photograph Tim's aunt's wedding, and he jumped at the opportunity. He quickly realized how much work is involved, yet still fell in love with the work and art of photography. Finally, in the last few months of 2007, Esther began working at Sears Portrait Studio. After the Christmas season wound down, we began to think more and more about becoming an independent studio. Finally, we decided to go for it, and here we are.
